Cheap, Fast, and (maybe)Effective AGP Suction Cooling
Another Ghetto Solution from CrowDesigns
I did this while waiting for my water cooling stuff to come in....

OK, it's been shown on other sites elsewhere, that you might experience a couple degrees temp drop on your CPU and maybe 5 on your AGP card if you place a fan on top of it sucking the hot air away. So, without any delay:
Supplies:
60mm HSF fan
4 - 1/4" Faucet Washers (the beveled ones are cool)
Hot Glue Gun
12 VDC outlet

First determine which way your fan blows. You want to ulitmately place the fan on top of your Vid Card to suck up air, so it blows up ^.

Next, Hot Glue the 4 Washers in each corner of the 'bottom' of the fan.
Place it on top of your card.
Connect to 12 VDC power, and you're set

Took me longer to locate my washers than it did for anything else. Who knows if it works? heh. Now I have 12 fans in there, though, at least until the water supplies come next week.

After testing , my Motherboard Monitor temps showed an increase in both sytem temp and CPU temp by a couple of degrees, so I took it out. The only thing I can think that may have caused an increase is the disruption of the airflow in this particular case. I don't think all cases are as flow particular, because according to the article I read, he got a benefit. Whatever, it's something to try, if it doesn't work, you're out about 5 cents of hot glue and 10 minutes of your life.
