| OK, it's been shown on other sites elsewhere, that you might experience a couple degrees temp drop on your CPU and maybe 5 on your AGP card if you place a fan on top of it sucking the hot air away. So, without any delay: |
| Supplies: |
| 60mm HSF fan |
| 4 - 1/4" Faucet Washers (the beveled ones are cool) |
| Hot Glue Gun |
| 12 VDC outlet |
|
After testing , my Motherboard Monitor temps showed an increase in both sytem temp and CPU temp by a couple of degrees, so I took it out. The only thing I can think that may have caused an increase is the disruption of the airflow in this particular case. I don't think all cases are as flow particular, because according to the article I read, he got a benefit. Whatever, it's something to try, if it doesn't work, you're out about 5 cents of hot glue and 10 minutes of your life. |
