A nice 1st generation Colt, Calibre 38-40. Circa: 1903.

 Action is crisp and tight. Excellent bore with clear markings. This 7 1/2" barrel Colt had been cleaned a long time ago, but still retains some case colors on the frame. All the screw heads are still in great shape. The grips are original to the gun but show obvious wear from age. Just a decent early Colt single action that really deserves a letter from the Colt Company to research it's true history.
